His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz , Governor of Asir Region, “Asir Follows” blood donation , which is supervised by the region’s governorate, following the approach of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz in consolidating national and humanitarian values and promoting a culture of giving and generosity.

His Highness the Prince of Asir region explained that this initiative embodies the solidarity and compassion that characterize the people of the nation, stressing that blood donation is a national duty that contributes to saving lives and supporting the health sector, and at the same time reflects societal awareness of the importance of giving and its sustainability.
Initiative goals
The initiative aims to increase the rate of voluntary blood donation to 100%, in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 , and to raise public awareness of the importance of donation and support national efforts in the health sector to achieve self-sufficiency in blood and its components. The initiative also reinforces the value of donation as a humanitarian act that contributes to saving lives and building a healthy and vibrant society.
