Strengthening Saudi-Malaysian relations: Official meeting in Riyadh

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister, received the King of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim, at the Royal Court in Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh today. Official welcoming ceremonies were held, the Saudi and Malaysian national anthems were played, and the King of Malaysia and the Crown Prince reviewed the guard of honor.

Meeting and bilateral cooperation

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and the King of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim, held an official meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, the Crown Prince welcomed the King of Malaysia to his second home, while the King of Malaysia expressed his thanks to the Crown Prince for the hospitality and warm reception he and his accompanying delegation received in the Kingdom. The Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to him, and the King of Malaysia conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

During the talks, aspects of Saudi-Malaysian relations were reviewed, as well as areas of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and ways to develop and enhance them, in addition to discussing developments in regional and international situations and the efforts made regarding them.
