Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud , and on his behalf, the Governor of Madinah Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the 25th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah and Visit Research , organized by Umm Al-Qura University represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research , under the slogan “Innovation and Sustainability in Serving the Guests of God,” at the King Salman International Conference Center in Madinah.
Leadership care and continuous support to serve the guests of God
In his speech, Prince Salman bin Sultan expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their constant care and attention to the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, stressing that this continuous care contributes to developing the services provided to the guests of God, and facilitating their performance of their rituals with ease and tranquility, reflecting the leadership’s keenness to achieve a distinctive and integrated spiritual experience.
An extension of Vision 2030 and the Guests of God Service Program
The Governor of Madinah Region pointed out that the forum embodies the qualitative development witnessed by the Hajj, Umrah and visitation system in the Kingdom, within the objectives of Vision 2030 , which made the program for serving the guests of God a key focus in achieving integration between all entities, and developing smart and sustainable solutions to serve pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors.
Innovations and technologies to serve pilgrims performing Hajj and Umrah
During his tour of the exhibition accompanying the forum, in which more than 50 governmental, private and non-profit entities are participating, Prince Salman bin Sultan was briefed on the latest innovations and technologies in the Hajj and Umrah sector, in addition to quality initiatives aimed at raising the efficiency of services and improving the experience of the pilgrims.
Broad scientific participation
For his part, the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Maadi bin Mohammed Al-Mathhab, that the forum includes 47 scientific posters , 30 innovative projects , and more than 60 scientific papers with the participation of researchers and experts from inside and outside the Kingdom, noting that these efforts reflect the Kingdom’s commitment to developing the Hajj and Umrah system according to a scientific and institutional approach that supports innovation and sustainability .
He added that the Guests of God Service represents a practical model for integrating the strategic vision with field work, to ensure a complete faith experience for the pilgrim and Umrah performer from his arrival until his departure, in an environment surrounded by comprehensive care and attention.
Honoring participating entities and innovative initiatives
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Prince Salman bin Sultan honored the participating entities and sponsors, and presented awards to the winning teams in the “Hajjathoon 3” , which aims to stimulate creative minds to provide innovative technological solutions that contribute to raising the efficiency of services and achieving a sustainable impact in serving the guests of God.
