The Kingdom provides more than 1.3 billion riyals in support to Yemen

Saudi Arabia is providing generous support to Yemen, exceeding 1.3 billion riyals, to bolster stability and development in the region. Discover the details of this humanitarian initiative.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques , King Salman bin Abdulaziz , and based on a recommendation from His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister, announced an additional grant of 1,380,250,000 Saudi Riyals Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council , and reaffirms the Kingdom's commitment to supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government in facing difficult economic circumstances.

Dimensions of economic support

The new support includes funding for the Yemeni government's budget, providing petroleum derivatives, and supporting the operational budget of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden Governorate. This comes through the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen , within a governance framework that ensures resources are effectively directed to support the Yemeni government's efforts in implementing economic and financial reforms.
