A joint statement was issued following the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif , to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the kind invitation of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman . The Crown Prince received the Pakistani Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, where an official meeting was held attended by high-ranking officials from both sides. At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister conveyed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, before the two sides reviewed the long-standing bilateral relations and issues of common interest, within the framework of a partnership described as one of the deepest in the Islamic world.
