Historical relations and strategic partnership

This congratulatory message comes within the framework of the deep-rooted historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of India, which have witnessed significant development in recent years, particularly following the establishment of the Saudi-Indian Strategic Partnership Council, overseen by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The importance of Indian Republic Day

Every year on January 26th, Indians celebrate Republic Day, the date on which India's constitution came into effect in 1950, transforming the country into a sovereign and independent republic. This day is a major national occasion during which India's military might and cultural diversity are showcased, and New Delhi typically hosts visiting world leaders, reflecting India's diplomatic standing.

The Saudi leadership is always keen to participate in the national celebrations of friendly countries, affirming the principles of mutual respect and strengthening the bonds of friendship and international cooperation, which is clearly demonstrated in the continuous commitment to high-level diplomatic communication on such occasions.
