Following the gracious directives of the wise leadership, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, arrived yesterday in the Qatari capital, Doha, where he met at the Amiri Diwan with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar. This visit comes within the framework of strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and ongoing cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar, and reaffirms the depth of the historical relations that unite the two brotherly countries.
Conveying greetings from the Saudi leadership
The Minister of Defense began the meeting by conveying the greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prime Minister, to their brother, the Emir of the State of Qatar. His Highness also conveyed the wishes of the Saudi leadership for continued progress, prosperity, and well-being for the government and people of Qatar. For his part, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Minister of Defense, conveyed his greetings and deep appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, wishing the Kingdom and its people further growth and stability.

The meeting included a comprehensive review of the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries, based on a shared historical legacy and profound social and cultural ties. The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields, particularly in defense and security, in order to serve their common interests and fulfill the aspirations of their brotherly peoples.
