The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, issued new royal decrees today, which included exemptions and appointments.
The following is the text:
Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud, Governor of Taif, was relieved of his post and appointed Deputy Governor of Madinah Region with the rank of Excellent. Prince Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz was appointed Deputy Governor of the Northern Borders Region with the rank of Excellent. Prince Fawaz bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz was appointed Governor of Taif with the rank of Excellent.
Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki, the governor of Diriyah, was relieved of his position and appointed as deputy governor of Al-Baha region with the rank of Excellent. Prince Rakan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz was appointed as governor of Diriyah with the rank of Excellent.
Princess Haifa bint Mohammed bin Saud bin Khalid, Deputy Minister of Tourism, was relieved of her position and appointed as an advisor to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers with the rank of Excellent.
Prince Dr. Saad bin Saud bin Mohammed was appointed as a member of the Shura Council. Prince Dr. Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Mishari, Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs, was relieved of his position and appointed as an advisor to the Minister of Interior with the rank of Excellent.
Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the Minister of Investment, was relieved of his post and appointed Minister of State and member of the Council of Ministers. Fahd bin Abduljalil bin Ali Al-Saif was appointed Minister of Investment.
The royal decrees included relieving Saud bin Abdullah bin Mubarak Al-Muajab, the Attorney General, of his position and appointing him as an advisor to the Royal Court with the rank of minister, and relieving Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Yousef, the head of the Board of Grievances, of his position and appointing him as Attorney General with the rank of minister.
Dr. Ali bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Ahaideb was appointed as President of the Board of Grievances with the rank of Minister. Dr. Najm bin Abdullah Al-Zaid, Deputy Minister of Justice, was relieved of his position and appointed as an advisor to the Royal Court with the rank of Excellent.
Mohammed bin Muhanna bin Abdulaziz Al-Muhanna, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs, was relieved of his position and appointed Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations with the rank of Excellent.
Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Arifi, Advisor at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, was relieved of his position and appointed Governor of the National Development Fund with the rank of Excellent.
Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Maghlouth was appointed Deputy Minister of Information with the rank of Excellent. Engineer Haitham bin Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Ouhali, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology, was relieved of his position and appointed Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Authority with the rank of Excellent.
Ahmed bin Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Issa, the Director General of General Investigations, was relieved of his position at his request due to his health circumstances. Faihan bin Fahd bin Ghazi Al-Sahli was appointed Director General of General Investigations with the Excellent Rank. Suleiman bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Qannas was appointed Advisor to the Royal Court with the Excellent Rank.
The appointment of Assaf bin Salem bin Faisal Abu Thnein as an advisor to the Royal Court with the rank of Excellent, and the appointment of Engineer Thamer bin Mohammed bin Qalt Al-Harbi as Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs with the rank of Excellent.
Abdullah bin Fahd bin Mohammed bin Faris was appointed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs with the Excellent Rank, and Engineer Fawaz bin Zanaaf bin Fawaz Al-Sahli was appointed President of the General Authority for Transport with the Excellent Rank.
Badr bin Ibrahim bin Ibrahim Al-Suwailem was appointed Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for “Social Development” at the Excellent Rank, and Abdulmohsen bin Mohammed bin Hamoud Al-Mazeed was appointed Deputy Minister of Tourism at the Excellent Rank.
Saad bin Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Luhaidan was appointed as an advisor in the office of the head of state security with the rank of Excellent. Major General Khalid bin Mohammed bin Ghaleb Al-Dhuwaibi was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General and appointed as Deputy Head of the Royal Guard. Major General Suleiman bin Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Maiman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General.
