The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, has approved the launch of the sixth edition of the National Charity Campaign through the national platform for charitable work, "Ihsan." The campaign is scheduled to begin on Friday evening, the 3rd of Ramadan 1447 AH, corresponding to February 20, 2026. This initiative reflects the King's continued generous support for charitable work and his commitment to maximizing its societal impact, coinciding with the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan, which witnesses a surge in charitable giving.

Royal patronage and support to empower the non-profit sector

The “Ihsan” charity campaign embodies the great care and attention that the charitable sector receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them. This support comes within the framework of the wise leadership’s keenness to support charitable giving in the Kingdom and elevate it to high organizational levels that ensure donations reach their beneficiaries easily and conveniently, thus strengthening the values ​​of social solidarity among members of the community.

Ihsan platform and its role in achieving Vision 2030

The “Ihsan” platform is a fruit of the wise leadership’s efforts to digitally empower the non-profit sector. It enjoys the direct oversight of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). Since its launch, the platform has contributed to strengthening the values ​​of humanitarian work within the community and activating the role of social responsibility in the private sector, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to increase the non-profit sector’s contribution to the GDP and develop e-government to serve humanitarian work.

On this auspicious occasion, His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Ihsan Platform, expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them – for their generous and continuous support of the Ihsan Platform. His Excellency affirmed that this support has enabled the platform to fulfill its pivotal role in supporting charitable work in the Kingdom, noting that all regions of the Kingdom witness a surge in charitable activity during the month of Ramadan, driven by religious conviction and the deeply rooted Arab traditions of benevolence and helping those in need, traditions inherent in Saudi society.

His Excellency Dr. Al-Qasabi explained that this campaign is a continuation of the successes achieved in the five previous campaigns, thanks to God and the collective efforts of the community. Since its launch, the platform has received over 330 million donations, a figure that reflects the significant trust donors have in the platform and their desire to earn reward and blessings, especially during Ramadan, when good deeds are multiplied.
