The Royal Commission for Riyadh City announced the lifting of the suspension on a group of lands located on the western side of the capital, with a total area of 33.24 square kilometers , enabling land and property owners to carry out the legal transactions, including selling, buying, planning, dividing and subdividing, in addition to issuing building permits in accordance with the approved urban regulations.

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City clarified that the lands included in the lifting of the suspension will be subject to the urban development code for the Wadi Hanifa area and its tributaries . This code encompasses diverse urban development patterns that consider the needs of residents while preserving the area's visual and architectural identity. The code aims to create an integrated urban environment that enhances quality of life and achieves a balance between development and the environment.
