Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef inaugurated the radar system in the northern border and the Al-Jarani center in the Tarif border sector, during his visit to the command and control center in the Northern Border Guard Command.
Advanced technologies to enhance border security
The Minister listened to an explanation given by the Director General of the Border Guard, Major General Shaye’ bin Salem Al-Wadaani, during which he reviewed the modern capabilities used in the monitoring and control systems for the operational areas, in addition to the means of field support that enhance the efficiency of security performance and raise readiness along the borders.
High field readiness and continuous monitoring
The minister watched a visual presentation that addressed the efforts of the border guards in protecting the northern borders, and the advanced technical and field capabilities they possess that contribute to supporting the security work system and the continuation of monitoring operations around the clock.
At the conclusion of the visit, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud prayed that God would perpetuate the Kingdom's security and stability under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
A number of accompanying officials attended the inauguration.
