The sixth national campaign for charitable work has been launched through Ihsan

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques approves the launch of the sixth edition of the National Campaign for Charitable Work through the Ihsan platform, with the support of the Crown Prince to promote giving during Ramadan.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has approved the launch of the sixth edition of the National Charity Campaign through the National Charity Platform (Ihsan) on Friday evening, the 3rd of Ramadan 1447 AH (February 20, 2026). This generous approval embodies the unwavering approach of the wise leadership in promoting the values of giving and generosity, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan, when people yearn to do good and help those in need.

Royal patronage and direct attention from the Crown Prince

The National Campaign for Charitable Work enjoys great patronage and attention from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and close and continuous follow-up from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who gives the non-profit sector utmost importance within the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The Crown Prince’s support for the “Ihsan” platform comes in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), in his belief in the importance of employing technology and data to maximize the impact of charitable work, raise its efficiency and reliability, and ensure that donations reach their beneficiaries with the highest standards of transparency and governance.

Ihsan: A qualitative leap in digital charitable work

The "Ihsan" platform represents a leading national model in the field of digital philanthropy, having successfully transformed the culture of giving within the Kingdom since its launch. The platform operates using a sophisticated technological system that ensures easy access to donation opportunities across various charitable sectors, including health, education, social services, and relief efforts. This sixth edition of the campaign builds upon the accumulated successes of previous campaigns, further strengthening the spirit of social solidarity among the Saudi people, who are known for their love of giving and their initiative in charitable endeavors.

Promoting the values of solidarity and the sustainability of giving

Commenting on the occasion, Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the "Ihsan" platform, expressed his deepest gratitude to the wise leadership for its unwavering support of the platform and charitable work in general. Al-Qasabi emphasized that the continuation of these national campaigns reflects the leadership's commitment to addressing citizens' needs and activating the role of social responsibility. He explained that the platform operates within a well-defined and precise framework that ensures high reliability and speed of implementation. He noted that the platform is witnessing increasing participation from individuals and institutions, with total donations since its inception exceeding 330 million transactions—a figure that reflects the significant trust the platform has earned within the community.

The campaign's impact on the non-profit sector

This campaign is particularly significant as it coincides with the holy month of Ramadan, when rewards are multiplied and charitable acts are more frequent. The "Ihsan" platform allows donors to contribute to sustainable development projects, including the "Ihsan Endowment Fund," thus contributing to the financial sustainability of the charitable sector. These efforts are an integral part of the comprehensive development drive underway in the Kingdom, where the third sector actively contributes to social and economic development, supported by a robust digital infrastructure and secure, accessible donation channels for all.
