A meeting to promote development and improve the quality of life in the Eastern Province
Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz chaired an important meeting at the Emirate’s headquarters today (Sunday). The meeting brought together the governors of the provinces, in the presence of his deputy, Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Undersecretary of the Emirate, the Assistant Undersecretaries, and the directors of the security agencies.
Focus on comprehensive development
Prince Saud bin Nayef reviewed development performance reports submitted by security agencies and provincial governors, which included indicators on work progress and achievement levels across various sectors. The Prince emphasized that the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister, are giving great attention to the needs of citizens and residents, with the aim of improving quality of life and promoting comprehensive development.
Guidelines for serving citizens and residents
The Governor of the Eastern Province directed officials to prioritize serving citizens and residents and meeting their needs quickly and efficiently, emphasizing the importance of continuous monitoring of the needs of residents in each governorate. He also stressed the necessity of implementing projects according to the highest quality standards and in partnership with relevant authorities, in addition to the importance of conducting on-site assessments of the governorates' needs and monitoring the progress of projects.
Preparing for the rainy season
The Prince emphasized the importance of early preparations for the rainy season and taking all necessary measures and precautions to ensure everyone's safety. The meeting discussed reports submitted by security and service agencies, which included indicators on the services provided and the needs of the governorates, as well as monitoring the progress of development projects in various cities and governorates of the region.
Thanks and appreciation to the governors
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Emir of the region thanked the governors whose term of office had ended, and welcomed the newly appointed governors, wishing them success in their new duties.
