Minister of Justice Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani conducted a comprehensive inspection tour of the Enforcement Court in Riyadh, in order to closely monitor the progress of work and follow up on the level of achievement in the judicial services provided to beneficiaries, within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to understand the needs of visitors and ensure the quality of judicial outputs.
Meeting with beneficiaries and providing direct guidance
During the tour, the Minister of Justice met with several beneficiaries within the court premises, listening directly to their comments and inquiries regarding the progress of their transactions. He directed that all noted issues be addressed promptly, emphasizing the need to streamline procedures and reduce processing times, thereby enhancing the beneficiaries' experience and reflecting the ongoing development of the judicial system.
Leadership support and keeping pace with Vision 2030
Dr. Al-Samaani held an extensive meeting with the heads of the enforcement courts and court staff in Riyadh, beginning by emphasizing the unlimited support that the judicial system enjoys from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the diligent follow-up from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them both.
The Minister of Justice pointed out that the qualitative shift witnessed by the justice system, whether at the level of legislation or digital transformation, comes as a translation of the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, which aims to consolidate the principles of effective justice and raise the efficiency of institutional performance.
The development of the executive judiciary and its economic impact
The Minister emphasized that the tangible progress achieved in enforcement courts necessitates continued diligent work to solidify quality standards. Enforcement courts are a fundamental pillar of the judicial system, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the Kingdom's investment environment by ensuring the swift and effective fulfillment of rights and the execution of judgments and commercial documents, thereby bolstering confidence in financial and commercial transactions both domestically and internationally.
Digital transformation and sustainable development
This visit comes as part of the ongoing monitoring of the work of courts and judicial facilities across the Kingdom. Through these tours, the Ministry of Justice aims to ensure the implementation of the latest digital technologies that contribute to a "paperless justice system." In recent years, enforcement courts have undergone complete automation of procedures, from application submission to judgment execution, which has helped safeguard rights and save time and effort for beneficiaries.
