The Institute of Management's partnership with the University of California, Berkeley, aims to enhance the development of government leaders

On the sidelines of the current visit of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to the United States, and as part of the Saudi-American Investment Forum, the Institute of Public Administration signed a memorandum of understanding with the Center for Executive Education at the University of California, Berkeley, one of the world's leading universities in the field of leadership development, with the aim of developing programs

The Institute of Public Administration signed a memorandum of understanding with the Center for Executive Education at the University of California, Berkeley , on the sidelines of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to the United States, and within the framework of the Saudi-American Investment Forum. This partnership aims to develop high-quality leadership programs that enhance the readiness of government leaders and raise administrative capabilities across various sectors.

The Institute of Management’s partnership with the University of California, Berkeley is a strategic step to support government transformation and build national competencies capable of leading institutional change, through the development of training content based on leadership competencies and consistent with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 , in addition to exchanging academic and research experiences and enabling national cadres to benefit from the experiences of one of the world’s leading universities in the field of leadership.

The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration , Dr. Bandar bin Asaad Al-Sajjan, that this memorandum is among the qualitative initiatives accompanying the Crown Prince's visit to the United States, noting that it represents a new phase in the development of government leaders. He explained that the cooperation with the University of California, Berkeley, reflects the Institute's commitment to providing high-quality executive education that contributes to preparing future leaders.

Al-Sajjan added that the memorandum will contribute to expanding the institute’s international partnerships by providing advanced programs that have a direct impact on developing national leaders, and raising the efficiency of government agencies through modern methodologies in management, decision-making and improving institutional performance.

This step comes within a broader trend to enhance international cooperation and enable national leaders to keep pace with modern changes in management, in support of the Kingdom’s efforts to build an effective and sustainable government apparatus.
