Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University – College of Education and Human Development – and the Early Childhood Agency at the Ministry of Education launched the “Childhood Flourishes in 2030” conference on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, under the patronage of the Minister of Education, Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, and in the presence of the Deputy Minister, Dr. Inas bint Sulaiman Al-Issa, and a host of education leaders, Saudi organizations, and specialists. “Childhood Flourishes in 2030” on establishing practical pathways to support child development in a digitally and psychologically safe environment, and building partnerships that translate knowledge into policies and applications at the institutional and family levels.

“Childhood Flourishes in 2030” program includes three main dialogue sessions: “Sustainable Investment in Childhood , “The Child in the Digital World ,” and “The Child’s Psychological Well-being ,” where policies for funding early childhood programs, digital child protection, and building accessible and equitable psychological support services are discussed.

The conference includes six practical workshops, among them: Children's Educational Rights , Strategies for Learning Reading Skills , and The Role of the Kindergarten Teacher in Promoting Holistic Development .
